You aren’t going to believe me, but here is the one thing you MUST MUST MUST do on your wedding day:
Show off your bling however you want!
Do whatever the fuck you and your spouse want to do because it is your day. If there are traditions you do not want to do, don’t do them.
Cutting the cake tradition started for women to show to their new family that they could be good hosts. The husband was brought into cutting the cake as wedding guest lists started to grow!
If you want to cut a pie instead of a cake, do it.
If you want to sing a song with your partner instead of do a first dance, do it.
If you want to just have the day be just you and your spouse (and your photographer of course 😊 ), do it.
Letting your kids be part of the wedding ceremony entirely. You decide.
Do whatever make you and your spouse happy because it is your day to celebrate the union of you two badass humans! Shot gun beers, smoke a joint, eat sushi, jump in the ocean. Whatever the fuck you want to do because you are the two who will remember this day the most and for forever. Make it be a day that celebrates and showcases your love. 💕 🥰
Wedding days are filled with lots of emotion. It is super important that you have people around you who will support you and your vision!
